Cinemas around Bretforton

Regal Cinema Evesham

41 Port St, Evesham WR11 3LD, UK – 01386 421007

I have been using this cimema since it first opened and can honestly say it gets better each time I visit. I love that you can call ahead and have your drinks ready and waiting on your table without you having to queue at the bar. If you need anything during the performance just text and someone brings it too you. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. I would recommend everyone should try this cinema.

One of the most beautiful Art-Deco buildings you could have the pleasure of sitting in ! A good view upstairs or down with very Comfortable seats to say the least. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for with nice food & drink & also helpful friendly staff (interestingly they run a loyalty card scheme) as well as a great range of films , live events & live screening too (in 2017 they are adding 2 smaller screens for more films to be shown & a rooftop restaurant too) . Overall : BRILLIANT !!

The Bear

For a good time this place is ace. A hidden gem with every song you can think of on jukebox

Avonvale Holiday Lodges

Siding Nurseries, Offenham Rd, Evesham WR11 8DX, UK – 01386 47768

Spent 2 days at avonvale holiday lodges. We were there for a family wedding. The lodge was like a home from home. All our needs were catered for. We had a lovely lodge that was clean warm and spacious. We loved every minute of our stay. And the play area for children is lovely. Our stay was from Fri 3rd-sun 5th February 2017. Was lovely in winter but will be amazing in summer.

We arrived at the lodge to be welcomed by a very nice gentleman that had lay out some biscuits and tarts, which after a long drive was a very comforting site. He showed us around the lodge and how everything worked including the complimentary wifi (the fastest I have seen at a public place in a while). He was also happy to tell us how to get to the nearest supermarket, which wasn't too far away given that I thought this was in the middle of nowhere. There were two rooms with space for a couple a three kids (a double in one room and a bunk and separate single in the other). The entire lodge was made from thick wooden beams and felt very aesthetically pleasing. There was a full kitchen and living room with a TV and DVD player with a dining table behind the sofa. Towels were provided, which is always a big bonus. The beds are "used" (in the kindest way possible) with weak springs, so expect a soft (if not weak) mattress. The only other downside is that it has a lingering aroma of dog and if you don't have dogs then this can be rather irritating, and this has contributed to why I have dropped a star. If you do have dogs then this is perfect! It was an easy checkout the next morning, just leave the keys in the door and go.
